I am a PhD student in the computer science department. I am interested in understanding the representations humans use to model the world and how they can be used by machines to enable human-like capabilities. I use theory-based reinforcement learning to address these questions. I am particularly interested in modeling intricate physics as well as the beliefs and desires of other agents, thereby enabling machines to better manipulate their environment and cooperate in multi-agent settings.
