"There is something inside of me. What is it?"

-Vincent van Gogh

Our research aims to understand how the brain does so much with so little: How does it acquire richly structured knowledge about the environment from a small amount of data? How does it use this information to guide adaptive behavior with stringent limits on computation? We use a combination of behavioral, neural, and computational techniques to pursue these questions.
