I am a PhD student in the Psychology department. I am interested in how we
extract knowledge about competence from limited and ambiguous data. My work
focuses on developing an intuitive theory of competence which provides inductive
biases that constrain our inferences regarding what we are capable of and could
be capable of if we explored and learned in particular ways. My research approach
combines behavioral experiments and computational models.
