I am interested in how people solve new problems. To understand this, I use neural decoding methods to test what information is represented in the brain during new and unfamiliar situations. Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, I completed my PhD at the University of Oxford, focusing on interactions between motivation, neural coding, and cognitive control.
