I’m interested in the computational mechanisms underlying cognition, particularly how intelligent systems use intuition to interpret their surroundings in useful ways. I hope to use modeling, neural recording techniques, and machine learning to test theories of cognition in humans. Previously, I worked in the Keinath Lab at UIC researching spatial cognitive reasoning in humans using virtual reality. I graduated from UIC with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Mathematics. In my free time, I enjoy playing jazz piano, gaming with friends, and occasionally DJing.
